The purpose of these checks is to identify offenses that may disqualify potential cleaners from using Done.

Background checks are performed by Checkr, Inc., a third-party background check provider that is accredited by the National Association of Professional Background Screeners. The checks search criminal record information through a series of state, local, and national databases, and the results of the background check are individually reviewed by Done to determine whether a cleaner should continue to have access to the Done. Service Provider app.
You must provide detailed personal information: full name, address, date of birth, social security number.

In general, to pass the background check cleaners must have:

  • a criminal record that does not include a conviction for a felony, violent crime, or sexual offense within the last seven years.

A credit check is not a part of the process.

Once Done receives your completed background check from Checkr, we will use the results to make our decision and inform you of the decision via email or support chat. Applications take around 2-5 business days to be approved.

Please note: you will be granted full access to Done. Service Provider app only after the background check.
Done is not an employer, but simply connects independent service providers with customers.

Background check is free, secure, and private.
